About Us
Sheelin Shine was built on a shared passion: Brian brought years of experience in chemistry and biochemistry, while Dean brought a hands-on love for all things automotive. Frustrated by the poor quality and high prices of car care products in Ireland, Dean mentioned the idea of doing something better to Brian—and that was the start of everything.
Over the next few years, Brian continued leading major projects in biopharmaceutical labs across Dublin, while quietly studying industrial chemistry and chemical formulation in his spare time. Before long, the two began developing prototypes together. After a bit of fine-tuning, they handed out samples to a few trusted contacts—and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
What began as a side project between friends soon became something more. Realising they had a genuinely special product on their hands, they brought Darren on board to help bring it to market. With deep roots in the local car and agri scenes, and years of experience in sales and marketing, Darren was the perfect fit to complete the team.
Together, the three manage every stage of the process—from formulation and testing to manufacturing and sales—under one roof. The result? Premium-quality car, truck, and machinery care products that deliver the kind of performance and finish enthusiasts expect.

Brian
CEO
Brian leads Sheelin Shine as our Managing Director and in-house Chemist. With an Honours degree in Biochemistry and close to 15 years of industry experience, he's spent most of his career leading Projects helping pharmaceutical labs get off the ground around Dublin.
In his downtime, Brian found himself diving deep into industrial chemistry and custom formulations. Before long, he realised it was time to put all that knowledge, and his knack for managing complex projects, into something of his own. That spark led to the creation of our first high-performance car care formulas, built with science, precision, and passion.
Dean
Head of Manufacturing
Dean has been working with cars for as long as he can remember. He’s our go-to guy when it comes to hands-on product testing, real-world performance, and making sure everything we make delivers on its promise.
Fed up with overpriced and underwhelming products on the market, Dean reached out to Brian a few years ago with a simple idea: “What if we made something better?” That conversation turned into late nights in the garage, endless batches of testing, and eventually, the birth of our first product line, Serious Stuff.
Darren
Head of Sales & Marketing
Darren came on board when it became clear that people loved our products—and we needed someone who could help us share that story far and wide. He’s well known on the local car scene and in the agricultural and machinery world, which makes him a perfect fit for building genuine relationships with our customers.
Whether he’s at an event, answering messages, or updating our socials, Darren’s always out there keeping the Sheelin Shine community connected and in the loop.
